Kythreotis and Zembylas worked a lot together just before the events of 1974 and the division of the island. In particular, they built Mare Monte, aluxurious restaurant and hotel, and a domed Blessed Virgin Lady church in Katakopia (now Zümrütköy, Northern Cyprus).
