In Kritis Lane, a single-storey white house on the left catches your eye. The unpretentious restaurant signboard makes it a little difficult to enjoy the playful charm of the facade: a complex cubic micro tower (the only thing missing is a flag) that sits above the entrance and a creeping ornamentation above the windows on the left side of the facade, which suddenly went to sleep in the Greek way of life.

It's a lovely example of Art Deco, which reminds us that people having lived here knew what is what in architectural jokes. I hope the house survives thanks to the popular restaurant.
